Process Improvement
Outcomes related measures provide the participating
health care organization an opportunity to improve in several ways:
• Allow the HCO to assess the effectiveness of
medication
• Provide the ability to examine the effect of treatment and or
functioning
• Provide valid tools that assess signs and symptoms
• Increase inter-rater reliability
• Provide a stable treatment framework
• Define measurable treatment progress
They also help to demonstrate the direction of change
over time.
